Renewable Energy Sources (RES)
In the framework of european, national and regional energy strategy plans, the Agency has evaluated the potential of local renewable energy sources in order to understand what are the vocations of our territory. We are now promoting solar energy, geothermal energy, hydroelectrical energy and biomasses as the most promising resources when considered for domestic and small scale generation. Environmental and economical sustainability as well as local availability of these sources are the main limits to their development in our area.
